All the colleges and schools were shut down due to the outbreak of COVID-19. There are adverse effects of it in all the sectors. Also educational sector has faced a lot of problems. Now as the situation of covid has settled a bit and all the schools and colleges are reopened. But again the major concern here is mode of the exam. As there is less time for students to prepare themselves for the exams they are highly demanding for online exams.

Students are facing lots of challenges due to shifting of online to offline exams:
- They will have to reconnect and rebuild their social skills.
- Uncertainty in schedule, learning continuity has lost.
- Relying on recorded lectures and PDF notes and typing out the homework and exams for
months has resulted into lack of writing practice. - All the sleeping and eating patterns have changed.
A lots of efforts are needed to put to come to a stable condition which requires a more time.
Now, various universities have taken the decision of conduction offline exams in proper descriptive pattern. Whereas Nagpur University, NU is all set to conduct the Nagpur University exams 2022 from 8th June onwards in offline mode. Today 20th May 2022, the NU officials have announced the exam pattern for the NU summer exams 2022. They have also clearly stated that the offline exams would be conducted in Multiple Choice Question i.e. MCQ format. The officials also mentioned that the exam centers will be the respective colleges of the students.
The officials also added that the students would be given a total 1 hour and 30 minutes to attempt the NU exam 2022. There will be a total of 50 questions out of which students must attempt only 40 questions.
This was one of the best decisions taken by the officials regarding the pattern of exam.

As of now, Nagpur University (NU) is expected to go ahead with offline exams with MCQ format for students. So many state university students from Maharashtra, especially Nagpur University, is demanding online exams for all colleges for past few months. The rise in covid cases, delay in the admission process for PG and other courses are a few reasons given by the students.
Previously Uday Samant Sir have said that the question bank will be given for preparation. But in the MU exam only 5% questions came from the question bank.
